Tony releases music of many genres under many pseudonyms. In Mid 2008 Tony was struck down with illness which forced him to rest up quite a lot. Prior to that Tony has been working on an industrial project named Horiakuma [Japanese for tattooed demon]. In the months that followed Tonys musical tastes moved towards more ambient and electronic music with a need to chill out personally. As Tony began to recover and regain fitness his tastes began towards more harsh music again, but hanging onto the electronic influences that he had recently discovered. As such, he began to get into harsh noise music. The music that he creates in the noise genre is too far from his ambient music to share that moniker and not quite close enough to his industrial music to share the Horiakuma moniker, hence Amukairoh was born [Horiakuma spelt backwards]. The music created under Amukairoh is aiming to be accessible to both harsh noise and ambient audiences. If the music is played at loud volume it is harsh noise, but if the music is played at low volume or through headphones it is longform ambient white noise. The first fruits of this project is the album, Janoo, created in October 2010 and due for release online at the start of 2011. More projects are in production, and invites to collaborate are on the cards.
